So what are my hopes for 2014?....I've been mulling over this post for a while now and in fact have started implementing a lot of things I want to change in 2014, even within the last few days.
I appear to have drifted into a festive themed blissful retreat filled with quality family time, delicious, Christmas food (Greek, English, French) and sunny, invigorating winter walks: wow, what a week. I feel like a new girl: relaxed, renewed and ready for the New Year. Cheers!

One of my oldest, closest (and most gorgeous) friends Emma is in London from LA over Christmas so this weekend was all about quality time together, catching up face to face (Skype can never compare but helps since she moved Stateside), Christmas shopping and of course partying in sparkly London town!
Agh little Oliver, nearly 4, never fails to make me laugh and chatting to Daddy last night, he compiled a list of what he would like for Christmas. Noticing we've run out of shower gel, that made the list.

Last night saw us rushing to A&E as Alexander, aged 14 months experienced episodes where he was struggling for breath. As you can imagine, it was an alarming, stressful time for my husband and I. Alexander had already been seen twice by the GP yesterday, once in the morning with a 39.9 degree temperature and then at 5pm with worsening flu like symptoms.
Last Saturday we got up early at 6am (what's new) and set off to the former European Capital of Culture (2008), the utterly beautiful Liverpool for bustling chestnut smelling- Christmas markets and Ice Festival fun in the centre.
Ever since the kids came along, we've opted to share the cuteness (we're good like that and it is the season for it) with personalised Christmas cards for our close friends and family... and this year we were lucky enough that wonderful online bespoke stationers Paper Shaker gifted us 50 fabulous, personalised Christmas cards with their mugs on it and aren't they pretty?

Duh duh duh...the truth about going from one to two kids...
A lot of broody friends of one, have been asking me recently what life is like with two kids so I thought I'd write a few things that we've personally found changed for us as a family.
