I met the wonderful founder of Muklet, Laura Bonnell, when she attended the Passion into Pounds workshop my business partner Jessica Huie and I hosted at the British Library last month.

I love meeting my fellow Mumpreneurs and its inspiring to see how Laura has built the successful brand, Muklet, which has been featured in the likes of Vogue and Mr Fox.

Having worked as a Fashion Designer for 17 years both in London and New York, working with labels such as Ralph Lauren and Jack Wills; however her journey into motherhood led her to setting up her very own label and Muklet was born.

I love this snap of Laura with her very own cheeky ‘Muklets’ wearing the label’s signature Varsity designs.

Muklet came about from Laura struggled to easily find kids clothing and homeware that was original and authentic and definitely not cute and pastel!

And, Carbonista Fashionistas can have peace of mind as Laura’s creations are all ethically made and are free from harmful substances, making them safe for babies and kids.

I’m a huge fan of the ‘American Vintage style’ that inspires Laura’s designs and especially these super cool Varsity tees as modelled by Oliver and Xander below.

The tees are priced just £16 each in sizes 2-7 years or £20 in sizes 8-12+. The designs are available in either grey/navy or off-white/red.
