The last few weeks have felt like a bit of a dream if I'm honest. A gorgeous sunny adventure in one of my favourite parts of the world: the South of France with good as gold kids and my sweetheart of a husband. I've felt like a lucky, lucky lady after quite a busy year.

A Wonderfully Festive Weekend Away in Newcastle

Setting off from Leeds to Newcastle on a grey and drizzly day on Saturday to celebrate the launch of Esso's Synergy Fuels, the rain surprisingly and much to the awe of my kids, soon turned to snow on the motorway mid-journey. We certainly didn't expect it. And certainly not as much.

Tips for Travelling with Kids in February Half-Term

February half term will soon be upon us (where is this year going?!) and if we were not about to buy a new family home, we'd be jetting off abroad like many other families in pursuit of some golden sunbeams and much needed Vitamin D.

October Half-Term Holidays

My child's Pre-School has two weeks off for October half term but instead of flying to South Africa ourselves to visit my husband's parents, we flew them over to Leeds so they could meet baby Alexander for the first time and have a holiday overseas themselves! It's been wonderful seeing them again and they've fallen head over heels with Baby A and relished in seeing their first grandchild Oliver again.
