Stunning kids' style.
These two having the time of their lives.
Kids are amazing.
We've reached a turning point.
Sweet vintage style PJs.
My kids never look cuter than in their PJ's to be honest, and I'm that mum who likes to match her offspring in twinning nightwear. Twinning is winning, after all!
Kids can say the funniest things, and let me tell you, my own son, Xander who is now 4 and 2 months, basically needs his own show. 'Get that kid an agent, darling' as my good friend, the great actress Harriet Thorpe always says.
Welcome to a refreshed and chilled out Brilliant Blog Posts.
Now, I'm not going to lie, my interest in football is pretty limited.
We've all been there right folks- having to drag kids around the supermarket just before dinner because you suddenly realise the fridge is empty! Not fun usually, not fun at all!
Oh the wonderful weekend, where did it go? It feels so long ago now and it's only Tuesday, and I'm missing running through russet fields at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and breathing in that crisp autumnal air, squinting at sunlight filtering through the trees.
Boys, as with girls, are individuals, their personalities and interests vary from child to child based on character, along with socio-economic and cultural influences- yet both sexes are frustratingly so often confined and limited, made to conform to stereotypical gender-specific notions (many archaic and not relevant to today) with children being defined by their sex, homogenised by assumptions and labels.
As you get older and perhaps a little wiser (or in my Dad's case, sillier, much, much sillier-it can go both ways) you start to realise what really matters in life. I think having kids can do that to you, that whirlwind of new love for the kid you made merged with the mammoth overwhelming weight of responsibility (no more spontaneity in life is pretty sobering) and puts everything that came before, and after it, into sharp perspective. You don't need to have a kid for this I should add. Yay for being wiser without having to actually use your cervix! Life experience, travel, pets, nurturing plants, charity work, whatever it is that takes you out of yourself, can be enlightening, It got me thinking about all the tiny touching moments that make up the bigger picture, the intricately woven happy-making little things I reflect on right before I go to sleep or if I'm away from my kids, missing them madly, or my zone out to more joyous times when I find the children fighting over toys/films/my affection and I need a happy place pronto.
I love working with Cosatto, they really shine some twinkly stardust over my life whenever we collaborate or they ask me to review yet another gorgeous product from their collection-it's a tough job I know ;)... So without further ado, let me share in detail the fabulous Supa Firebird Pushchair we were sent for little Alexander, 2...Oh and the most fun day you could imagine at their HQ where they unveiled the lushest of lush Spring/Summer range that really will make your summer sunny even if it rains!
Last weekend saw my youngest son, Alexander turn 2, two whole years! I know every parent on the planet says the same thing, but doesn't time fly, people?!
The fabulous folks at Yellow Mellon sent my sons some beautiful summery pieces for review so we hit the park with the very talented Kirsty Mattsson of Kirsty Mattsson Photography for a shoot in the sunshine!
