I'm often asked if my hair is fake or not, so when the Daily Mail got in touch asking if I'd like to appear in a feature on real hair vs hair extensions it seemed like a fitting opportunity! Eagle-eyed followers will spot me in print and on the homepage of Femail today!
Those who follow my blog, know that hair is my THING and I'm forever experimenting with new hairstyles alternating between what I've termed 'Hollywood waves' and Rapunzel curls (according to my kids) to poker straight locks.
Even with two kids to look after and a crazy busy blogging career, I always find time to style my hair! It's pretty high maintenance so there's no option there and you know what, my hair is my thing, I reckon.
Sleep-deprivation isn't just for parents of newborns, I'm still waiting for my 5 year old, Oliver to sleep through the night, every night. Really.
Both he and Alexander are light sleepers like their Mama and both will usually wake up at least once a night if not more. Good times.
...And it's not just us who are suffering, the majority of parents I've asked recently, seem to be too. It appears we are all relentlessly searching for the holy grail of consistent sleep-argh remember the full 8 hours pre-kids. It's but a distant memory for myself and so many.
My hair was poker straight until I hit 13 and my hormones went, well a bit well hormonal and turned my sleek locks curly!
The exact same thing happened to my Mum so it must be hereditary so in all honesty, I don't really know if I'm naturally straight or curly.
I suppose I'm naturally curly now but there are days my hair is straighter producing waves rather than curls...an enigma!
Anyway, I often get asked how I achieve my curls and when I'm not getting my all time favourite blow dry (I call it the Hollywood wave), I have a series of go-to hero hair products to keep frizz at bay and curls enhanced and pretty at home!
