Looking Cool in Converse All Stars: A Family Tradition

Converse is a shoe brand which feels synonymous with my kids’ childhood. My sons, Oliver, and Alexander rocked pairs of High Tops in blue, white and red respectively, as soon as they could walk, just as myself and my husband did as kids, and still love as adults.

My third child, a daughter, Florence, 3, was annointed in this family tradition over the weekend with a trip to Schuh in York, where we purchased some pretty hot pink lace ups in a size 9.

I had to mark this sweet milestone with a blog post then didn’t I?

Supportive, comfortable and so utterly cool, these Chucks were made for walking (and running, skipping and playing in, all day)!

I love that Converse are intergenerational and have such a timeless appeal.

These iconic originals are classic, chic, no fuss trainers and once you lace them, they stay laced!  Quite the feat for our little action girl!

Coupled with a floral frock bought from Vinted (brand new) by one of our faves, Dolly Wears, pink M&S children’s tights (I think) and a frilly  tee underneath is either from TU or Zara (sorry, I must finesse my fashion blogging), this was the perfect outfit for a day in the sunshine.

Darling shoes, dress and daughter! The garden could do with some work, we’re slowly getting there!

Do your kids love Converse too?
