Karl Lagerfeld Kids Launches at Melijoe.com

Listen up all my fellow parents to mini-fashionistas because I have a major announcement that’s gonna knock your designer socks off!

I’m excited announce that Karl Lagerfeld has launched his first ever kids line and I can confirm that it’s every bit as good as it sounds.

The king of haute couture is renowned for his thematic catwalk shows and his ability to attract the hottest FROW peeps during Paris Fashion Week (forget the A-list, Karl’s shows are all about the A+++ list); and for his latest project, he’s jumped into the world of kids’ fashion with his first collection debuting on the Parisian online luxe kidswear site, Melijoe.

The collection is described as ‘Kreative, iKonic, Kool and aKcessible and inspired by his personal style.’

I have to completely agree with all the above, and the fact that I have spent most of today wishing I was 25 years younger so I could enjoy the new range is testament to that…

Quirky, cool, stylish, kids’ clothing has had a make over by the world’s most fashionable designer and it’s exquisite.

The collection is as slick and stylish as Karl’s trademark tux and signature ponytail.

Think black fingerless gloves, skinny ties, ballerina flats, tailored blazers and mono-chrome…

I’m also slightly obsessed by Choupette, the super sassy kitty and Karl’s feline muse that features on many of the pieces (check her out in some of the uber cool gifs below!).

She’s even the star of her own video – watch her try to take over the runway, the fashion shoot and ! Meow! Put those claws away Choupette.

Although, I wouldn’t expect anything less from a pampered pussycat who has no less than TWO nannies at her paws! Yes you heard right! Two!!

Back to the clothes-the range is available from newborn to 16 years with prices starting from a very reasonable £19.
