It Only Takes One Mum…

To help spread the word in the blogging community about ONE-an advocacy organisation dedicated to fighting poverty in Africa, blogger Clare, from Seasider In The City, has devised a fun meme, taking the first letters from ONEMums (or ONEMoms) to create words or phrases that help explain what being a mum is to you.

Here’s mine:

Overwhelming sense of utter happiness. Mostly when the boys are sleeping!
No time for general, trivial nonsense-too much of that at home with a toddler.
Exciting fun filled times every day be it watching Papa G give Oliver piggy backs to my attempts at being ‘Mrs Maker’-worth the daily stress!

Music blaring-mostly R ‘n’ B if it’s the toddler’s choice. Really.
Unconditional love for my boys. Always and forever.
Mum-my own, who taught me how to be the best mum I could be. Thank you.
Silence because I can’t remember what that is. It’s overrated though right?!
