Vicki of Honest Mum in her new Range Rover Evoque

Check me out in my Evoque looking all ‘Puff Daddy from the 90s’ in my Mum’s vintage coat (love it)…As you can see, I’m back again car DJing in my car (don’t dance and drive though people, be safe on those roads) because I just don’t get out enough #mumprobs but it’s all AOK as if mama can’t go to the club (with a bottle full of Bud) the club comes to the car (without the Bud, obvs).

As you guys seemed to enjoy my last instalment I’m going to be sharing the tunes this family loves, with you all, regularly.

Get ready to PAARTTY like it’s 1999 mamas and papas (I think it was actually 1999 when I last partied but details, smetails)-go check out my fave tunes right now!

Despacito-Luis Fonsi featuring Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber

I couldn’t NOT kick off with Despacito as my number 1 tune as it’s basically the soundtrack to my life right now and I play it on repeat 24/7.

Here are just #3 reasons of #2769403876 on why I love this track:

1. the melody and the perfect life-affirming marriage of Luis, Daddy Yankee and Bieber serenading me

2. the fact it’s mostly sung in Spanish (growing up, you’d never hear a foreign language song in the charts or a collaboration like this) so here’s to many more, and

3. The joy in kidding myself I’m fluent in Spanish just because I’ve nailed the chorus. Cross reference: Me last year, deluding myself that I’m a 21 year old backing dancer, learning the moves to Bieber’s I’m Sorry only to give myself sciatica. True story. #alltheshame.

Bonus point: this track makes me want to get back to my salsa shaking days. This mama has moves (they just don’t get seen enough).

Anyway enough about me reliving my youth, enjoy and go forth and ace your Spanish GCSE thanks to this bad boy!

Bon Appetit-Katy Perry featuring Migos

The coolest, tongue-in-cheek video imaginable from groundbreaking superstar Katy Perry with a tune that makes this family simultaneously sing and feel hungry with every beat.

Bit of futile trivia for you but I used to be speak Français pretty well pre-kids, although my French mates liked to tell me that I sounded exactly like, ‘a posh French grandma’ whenever I spoke the language. Weird or what?!

You need to practice a language though and like my Greek, it definitely needs brushing up!

Anyway, good news-you don’t need to speak French to love Bon Appétit!

Galway Girl-Ed Sheeran

There’s not a single track of Ed Sheeran’s we’ve not loved and this Irish inspired track lyrically and melodically is one of the kids’ fave.

Issues-Julia Michaels

One of the most distinctive voices out there, Julia Michael’s song Issues is utterly addictive. The commenter, C.231 hit the nail on the head when she hilariously wrote on the music video, that, ‘I got issues and one of them is how much I listen to this song’. This C.231. This.

Harry Styles-Meet Me in the Hallway
The boy’s done good since leaving One Direction (after obviously smashing it as a band) but stardom always beckoned for the star we knew would always shine solo.

I love how relaxed this song makes me feel- it’s the perfect song to listen to once the engine is off and you simply chill in your drive before taking your now sleeping kids out of their seats and straight into bed before pouring the wine and partying all over again to Despacito in your kitchen.

Parenting: a non-stop party. Said none one ever.

What are you listening to?
