Spending an evening with Thorntons in their magical make-shift Lapland in Central London was just what I need to soothe away the holiday blues after a trip to the actual Lapland in Finland last week.
A huge fan of the Mummy Diaries, it was fab to hang out with the beautiful and super-funny Billie Faiers who hosted an Elf workshop for myself and fellow parenting bloggers to help us keep the magic alive for the kids this Christmas. Along with a bunch of brilliant thespian elves, we discovered how to emulate Santa’s visits with snowy footprints on carpet to calls from Santa and tea stained letters from Lapland which made my kids squeal with delight when they saw them.
The event was in celebration of Thorntons Cheeky Elf, a new mischievous chocolate addition to the Thorntons’ range this Christmas.
The chocolate elf is made with milk chocolate so perfect for my eldest son (my youngest can’t eat dairy) and has intricate details which include a white chocolate collar and striped trousers.
