Windsor Castle

Anyone who follows this blog will know of my deep respect and admiration for her Majesty the Queen and the Dukes and Duchesses of Sussex and Cambridge, also. Their warmth, professionalism and resilience in the face of adversity, trolling and upheaval, is an inspiration to us all-and that’s why I’m excited to learn about True Royalty TV (more about that in a minute)!

True Royalty TV

I’ve followed the Royal Family’s journeys my whole life and have felt privileged to cover milestones such as Royal weddings and births on national and international TV and in the press. I recently wrote of the racism Meghan has faced with my Tweets being made into Twitter Moments by the channel. I was also lucky enough to be invited to see the Royal Wedding Exhibition of RHS Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank’s special day at the castle.

Honest Mum and son at Windsor Castle

…I adore living in the Royal Borough of Windsor, close to the Queen’s purported favourite home of Windsor Castle and the Sussexs (photos taken earlier today as my son, Oliver, and I pretended to be tourists) and it amazes me how quickly time is flying by as we’ll be marking 3 years here, in August.

It always make me laugh when I remember the PR who sent me an unsolicited gift addressed to, ‘Honest Mum, Windsor Castle’. The postman knew me as I have a PO Box so kindly dropped the parcel off. There appears to be 2 queens in Windsor now ;)!!!!
