Real life footage of a Saturday night with the gir

Real life footage of a Saturday night with the girls. Anyone else? Did you know that a survey conducted by Talker Research for Bezel Wines in August 2025, sampling 2,000 U.S. women aged 21 and older found that women feel they need a girls' night approximately every 22 days to stay emotionally balanced and recharged. I hear that!

Findings:
• Perceived Necessity: 78% of respondents stated that regular get-togethers with female friends are a mental health necessity rather than a luxury.
• Preference Over Dates: 62% of women reported that they would choose a girls' night over a romantic dinner with a partner.
• Conversation Focus: 83% of women prefer unstructured conversation, focusing on personal life updates (19%), relationships (15%), and family (13%) rather than work drama.
• Food & Drink: 88% choose wine as their preferred beverage (with 85% opening a bottle within 16 minutes of the first guest's arrival), paired with foods like charcuterie (31%), sliders, wings, chips, and sweets (11%).
• Common Activities: Top activities include watching movies (66%), dancing (55%), and cooking together (45%), with nearly 60% noting there is no formal host. #Millenial #relatable #research #explorepage #funnyreels research science dystopiste

Not me. Video c/o @dr.avivaromm 🩷. Cover photo my daughter as a baby! I think I’m currently coming to terms with the fact I won’t be having any more babies or breastfeeding ever again (despite my gynae telling me I could have more babies if I wanted, the husband and I have closed that chapter) 😭! It’s hit me now that my third child is growing up. She’s started (a wonderful) school a!4 there’s a grief that accompanies that, especially as it’s the last time I’ll experience the milestones that come with having kids (and the dopamine release of all of the firsts: positive pregnancy tests, first words, steps, weaning and more. It’s not that I feel broody per se, more that this chapter of raising babies is over and it’s time to rediscover who I am to some extent. My children still need me, my teens in many ways more than my (almost) 5 year old. But those physically and emotionally demanding early years have come to a close. If your youngest or only child has started primary school/ infant school, you too might be on a similar emotional rollercoaster to me. I oscillate between relief that I have more time to write/work/see my friends/ practise some self care whilst simultaneously feeling a sense of loss that my youngest sidekick isn’t, well, by my side, as often 😭. A survey by Netmums of 2,000 parents found that mothers were 5 times more likely to cry than their child when they start school and despite me thinking I’d be delighted to finally have more structure to my life, that was me and the first month of school has felt tough for me. If you’re feeling the same, you’re not alone! #breastfeeding #baby #newborn #momofthree #motherhood
