Slumberdown winter duvetHM_featured_post_300x169px

When Slumberdown got in touch about their Winter Warm range, it was the perfect timing for us, because folks, it’s getting cold up North. Real cold. Make that freezing. Brrr!

We were using our summer duvets with woollen blankets over the top until now, but the kids kept kicking them off during the night, as they became to hot and we needed a compromise-something warm but lightweight.

The answer: The Winter Warm Duvet .

cuteKindly sending us three duvets, the boys relished is unrolling them out, creating tents then trampolines with them all (who knew a duvet could be so versatile?!)- and then it was time for the job in hand-for Mama to actually make the beds!

Warm, cosy and super-snuggly, these duvets are comfortable and truly perfect for the colder months.

With a hollowfibre filling, the duvet wraps around your contours (how clever?) so it stays with you as you move in the night meaning no drafts in your bed, just a warm body helping you get a restful night’s kip.

Importantly even at  high tog counts, the duvet is always light and being non allergenic means it’s kind to mine and the children’s sensitive skin.

Plus, Slumberdown’s easycare, soft polyester cotton is great at recovering its shape after washing too.

Made in the UK, the duvets are machine washable at 40° and you can even pop them in your tumble dryer. Easy!

We opted for double sized 15 tog duvets for the boys’ beds and king size for my husband and my bed.

Totally dreamy duvets for the most perfect night’s sleep!
