Honest Mum and Jason Collier

Jason Collier isn’t just a hair stylist, he’s a hair magician.

He’s also become a friend to me too.

And believe me when I tell you, this man knows hair.

This man IS hair!

A creative genius (and that’s no exaggeration), Jason’s vision and skills are simply off the scale.

From the first time I popped into stunning town spa Ridley’s Smooth You, he took one look at my complexion, told me the perfect brown shade for my locks (advised me not to highlight my hair again) and set to making me look so glam, I was stopped shopping in the high street an hour later being asked if I was a model.

That’s the ‘Jason Effect’ for you!

No wonder A listers like Victoria Beckham let him loose on their locks.

It’s also because of his gorgeous energy too, no doubt. The minute you meet him, he makes you feel at ease, as if you’ve know him forever and you completely trust him-with your hair and your life.

Jason makes you feel right at home in his hands. His mission? To make you feel your most confident self. He genuinely wants every woman and man to leave his clutches feeling as kick-ass as possible.

…Smooth You is a luxe salon in the new, chic Dalston Square-bursting with riviera style restaurants, pretty fountains and a playground for the kids. You’ll forget you’re in London.

Smooth You Dalston Square

And while Smooth You is like immersing yourself into a 5 star spa, there’s absolutely nothing pretentious about it either. Everyone is so genuinely warm and friendly there, nothing is too much trouble-big thanks to so many members of staff who offered to take snaps of my new barnet and showered me (and everyone) with cold drinks.

Now onto my hair. I have a stubborn tiny grey patch on the my top right parting (just where everyone can see it)-and will no doubt grow in its greyness soon. This was immediately eradicated with  and will cover the grey for 4 weeks minimum. I’ve had it done before with Jason and it always lasts.

  • O&M Hydrate & Conquer Shampoo 350ml

Now, excitingly you can win a cut and blow dry with the main man and some of the products used on my locks worth over £100 including:
KhairPep Transforme™ Masque 50ml

Khairpep Transforme™ leave in masque with K18 Peptide is a restorative permanent peptide reconstructor masque for thicker, dry hair. Khairpep K18 Masque for thicker hair delivers the K18 peptide into the cortex/centre of the hair, improving hair strength by 85% and Elasticity by 120% in one application. It does not wash out.

Perfect for medium to coarse hair types that have been damaged from thermal, chemical and environmental exposure.

Simply shampoo and towel dry the hair. Applying a generous portion, comb through the hair thoroughly and wait 4 minutes then style. Do not rinse out.

O&M Hydrate & Conquer Shampoo
The name says it all – Original & Mineral’s Hydrate & Conquer Shampoo gives dry and tired tresses necessary nourishment. Infused with nutrient-rich Tasmanian Sea Kelp and strengthening Pro Vitamin B5, this milky formula lathers into a gentle and hydrating froth. A protective UV inhibitor does double duty, shielding color-treated hair from fading.

O&M Maintain The Mane Conditioner

Original & Mineral sources natural ingredients from its native Australia, ensuring each formula is gentle and nourishing. This conditioner blends antioxidant-rich Banksia Flower with moisturizing Sweet Almond and Macadamia Oils. The result is detangled hair that’s protected from harsh environmental elements and styling stress.

P.S Don’t miss my vlog when I popped in to see Jason and he also shares his hair tips. (I also signed with manager Neil from Insanity on that day too!)

Ends Sept 7th 2016.

Offer valid for 3 months but the winner must respond within 1 week of the email being sent or a new winner will be selected.

I have thick hair and could do with a decent haircut, don’t get me started on those greys. I love your Roast Chicken recipe and so do my family.

I’ve totally neglected my hair since having my daughter 18 months ago, I can never justify the money to get it done nicely, and the greys are multiplying!

My hair used to be lovely and long and now it’s just … long. So long I can sit on it. It’s going a bit thin now I’m middle aged (aaaarrrggghhh!) and I’d love to be able to wear it down again, and look as young on the outside as I feel on the inside. Fingers crossed! x

I never know what to do with my hair so I end up with the same old boring cut. I would love to go to a hair dresser/magician who could advise me on what would be best! 🙂

Also I am going on holiday and it would be awesome to have a new do for that!

I would love to win, I have left my hair to grow for 3 years and not seen a hair dresser in that time so would be lovely to have some me time away from the kids and get pampered 🙂 Thank you so much for the chance xx

I used to spend a fortune looking after my hair before my little boy arrived but other priorities took hold since, but I can just about remember how special it felt to have my hair pampered and done properly, especially coloured. To be able to boast to my friends that I had my hair done by Jason would make them all jealous…they’d probably all book appointment themselves 😉

My hair has been my last priority since having the boys. I often stick it in a bun and wear a hair piece despite my hair being long. The problem is, I have no style in it, I trim it myself but it is just long and dull and flat and I am never happy with it when I leave it down. The problem is I have no idea how I want it, what would suit me or even if I have the confidence to carry a new style off. I need professional advice and help however, I just dont ever seem to find the time working full time, running the house, looking after 3 boys (if you include the hubby), studdying etc.

I’m desperate to find a hairdresser for my thick, long curly hair, I’ve tried so many and they just done understand my hair and I end up in tears and actually would rather visit the dentist than the hairdresser now 🙁

I would so love this! I have recently left my job in a bid to join the world of freelance consultancy and hairdresser trips will be few and far between while I earn enough to support the family. I currently colour my own hair but it hasn’t had a cut for quite a while! I’d love to have my hair done and feel glamorous, rather than exhausted, hit by a truck, mum to 2 small boys!
