You guys know I’m a sucker for empowering red and where better than to pose but my beloved Windsor. What’s more this frock cost a fantastic £9 in the sale from Zara.
Freezing my butt off for the blog, I added a monochrome fedora, picked up in Oxfam Harrogate with tags, originally from M&S.
How stunning is the Diamond Jubilee Fountain in Windsor btw. If these pics don’t make you jump on a train (or plane) pronto to visit the Royal Borough, nothing will. Windsor is an Instagrammer’s dream.
Classic, bold and flattering too, I also bought this dress is black with athletic style stripes on the sleeves. I have an hourglass figure and despite the mumtum find dresses which cling seem to suit me better than A-line skater style ones for example.
Paired with over-the-knee boots from Daniel here, or Converse pumps and bare legs in the summer, I know I’ll wear and wear this dress.
I opted for a Medium here which is a UK 10, US 6 but this style felt more like a UK 8.
I like the ruffled detailing on the sleeve and here I wear Dara Ford‘s vintage style clutch on a chain I adore.
Everyone always tells me red is my colour and a third of my wardrobe is dedicated to the hue be it lace dresses or long sleeved tees. I do love a red accessory too spanning tassel earrings and bright statement necklaces.
What do you think, do you like my dress? My feathered friends seemed to like it!
