I was honoured to attend and speak about my blogging career at BritMums Live (the biggest parenting blogging conference in the UK) last weekend and what a whirlwind it was.
You can read all the juicy details of this inspiring 2 day event in The Wonderful Whirlwind that was BritMums Live but I just had to share the beautiful dresses my official sponsor, Swedish brand me&i, and elegant British brand Jacques Vert gifted me to wear for the event and awards ceremony in this dedicated post too.
I managed to squeeze in a quick makeover in MAC before attending and loved my smoky eye and cherry lips. The perfect look to take me from day to night.
This blog was actually up for Best Style at the Brilliance in Blogging Awards held on the Friday evening, and although I didn’t win, I really did feel like a winner in the Lorcan Mullany navy frill cocktail dress!
I met Lorcan who designs for Taylor Swift among many other starlets at the Jacques Vert press day last year, such a talented man, so sweet and gentle and without ego, I felt so privileged to wear a design he crafted.
Wearing Yosa’s The Spring is Here necklace.
Classic and chic, I added a cropped Fever London cardigan when the weather changed on day 1, and wore my monochrome Dune heels (picked up last year to the day for BritMums Live), and gold wedges on the second. The B&W chunky heels must be my ‘BML shoes’ as this was only the second time I’d worn them, losing them to the back of my closet after last year’s event!
They’re so comfortable too, so will be coming with me to Portugal on Saturday for some holiday fun.
I of course also carried my must-have Nova Harley Miami black and white bag (I adore modelling for this brand and being their ambassador) and there was just so much love for this number with stylish mums oohing and ahhing over it, at my every turn. Big enough to fit my life in (phone, snacks, iPad and laptop when I need it), this is the perfect bag with, or without kids.
I loved showcasing stunning statement jewellery by Yosa whom I’ve recently signed up to be an ambassador for. Striking, bejewelled, dazzling pieces, I was proud to rock this company’s accessories including necklaces, drop earrings and a bright pink clutch! Dreamy.
Although I didn’t wear it for BML I have to share the Flora Fiesta show stopper of a necklace below too. What a beauty!
Dress gifted Naf Naf black evening dress.
This picture below makes me laugh, striking a pose before my talk!
The garments and accessories collectively made me feel my best and truly confident at the conference: elegant, flattering dresses and effortlessly stylish accessories with ‘bags’ of personality, I feel touched to work with these beautiful brands that suit me down to the ground.
So what do you think? Do you like my outfits?
Did you too go to BML? I’d love to read your comments on the event below, and what you were wearing if so.
