It’s a transitional time of year, some days are freezing cold, others are faux summer’s days. What’s a stylish gal to do?
It’s all about the gilet baby!
I grabbed this Shaggy Faux Fur Gilet at Topshop in the sale, reduced from £65 to £30. Fabulous for those days when a coat is not required and it’s timeless too, so it’s perfect for A/W next year and the next…and the next.
Under the layers is a lace sleeved sweater (I love contrasting textures) I bought from Oasis at Christmas and the skirt is a dreamy 70’s style pleather (faux leather) number from Warehouse, picked up just two weeks ago.
Think denier tights (I believe these were 100-time for the big boys as the temps were beyond cold) and brown boots were c/o Jones Bootmaker-strong, classic beauties that fit perfectly with the whole retro 70’s vibe.
The black shopper is Topshop too and a steal at £30.
I was about to board a train from York to London when we grabbed these snaps. York train station is rather beautiful. The entire station was built on a curve, so it looks and feels incredibly impressive. The perfect spot for a quick fashion shoot don’t you think?
