Time to Chill.

It’s exciting times for the Broadbent’s as my husband’s folks have come to visit us for 2 weeks from South Africa.

They last travelled the whopping 24 hours door to door when Oliver was 18 months old so it’s been incredible for them to see the baby in this photo above turn into the three year old little person he is now, with big opinions and so much personality.

He greeted them with a request to know what present had winged its way from SA, adding he hoped for a car if possible and made them laugh with his funny remarks that he’s planning on taking us on on holiday to Portugal whiles they are here. More like the Yorkshire Coast or Centre Parks but wishful thinking little man!

They’ve also met baby Alexander for the first time and have totally fallen in love with him and his spiral curls and big eyes, witnessing his first few days of walking and utterly contagious laughter.

Skype is amazing as is emailing photos and films of the kids but of course there’s nothing that compares to meeting the kids and getting tonnes of hugs and kisses.

So for the next 2 weeks we’ll be having lots of quality time with the family. I’ll still be blogging here and there but like Peter above, who is off now for 2 whole weeks, I can’t wait to hang out with my fab in-laws, relax more and of course, try and catch up with some zzz’s!
