‘Tis the season to be wrapped in a blanket both in and outdoors (ever over coats, draped across legs in the theatre/cinema/ on the sofa) and luckily I have the perfect item with two of these blanket-style ponchos from M&S, one my mum is currently borrowing forever (payback for all my ‘borrowed forever’ items from her) and this black and grey number above that I’m living in right now as I hibernate as much as possible this winter.
I can’t bear the cold. I need to live in LA pronto-5 year plan- but until then it’s all about the hats, gloves and scarves on repeat to survive the snow/hail/sludge and rain Great Britain likes to provide.
This is what I wore for a cold day out in Windsor recently…
The biggest of hoops (like JLo taught me) are from Topshop, a trilby special from M&S and the oversized jumper is Topshop (with Spanx leggings you can’t see in the pics).
Granted, a blanket and oversized jumper aren’t the most flattering items in my wardrobe (I’m a UK 10 and think I look a lot bigger here) but it’s about warmth over vanity right now, plus the blanket hides the extra festive padding I’m certain to have put on with all the extra calories consumed.
What are you wearing to keep warm?
