So those who follow my blog, know my love for Phase Eight runs deep.
They are my first-stop for chic day and evening dresses (my Mum loves them too so they speak to stylish women of all ages) and I simply love their bold floral designs and sharp, flattering fits- be it bodycon to flare fit, Phase Eight never fails.
I was kindly sent this beaut of a denim dress: The Annabel Zip Denim Dress, the perfect stop gap between the 70s and 90s trends dominating my wardrobe (and the catwalks) and I’m in love.
Flattering, figure hugging but structured with some stretch and a belt which highlights the waist, I’m going to wear this dress forever.
Denim never dates and will work with 60 deniers when the weather turns and big scarfs round my neck (bold and vivid) in the Autumn.
I, of course had to pair it with a pair of signature hoops (these are Topshop)-Can I just say I will NEVER stop wearing hoops after rediscovering my J-LO inspired passion for them earlier this year.
Oh and as I was out without little people I carried my pretty patterned (bobbly, sparkly: dreamy) is it a clutch or a bag? handbag I picked up in Cannes in a little boutique off the Croisette in the Spring. This bag mostly sits on my dressing table looking pretty so it was nice to give it an airing (poor bag)!
On my feet are chunky red wedges from Next which make me feel and look 6 feet tall (kinda). Gotta love a wedge to make the pins look as long as possible hey ladies!
Phase Eight, you’ve done it again! What a bella denim dress!
