It's been a while since I've shared an update on writing my book, Mumboss, mostly because I've, erm, been writing my book! For those not aware (where've you been, people?) I got a book deal in December 2016 with Piatkus/Little Brown under the giants that are Hachette.
So FOMO means the 'fear of missing out' (FYI those who have no idea 'Hi Dad') with the online dictionary informing me it's, 'Anxiety that an exciting or interesting event may currently be happening elsewhere, often aroused by posts seen on a social media website' (please tell me you also laughed out loud at 'aroused' and the use of 'website' after social media-yes I might need to grow up #natch).
Let me start off by stating this post applies to Dads too, it's just 'Father Hustler' doesn't sound as cool as Mother Hustler and you know Mama's got some street cred going on right here so let's stick with it (ha, as if).
Every mother will suffer from the dreaded cringe-worthy 'mum guilt' at some point in their lives, as will fathers, making parental guilt something we all seem to wrestle with.
Guilt, we all get it, it's inevitable, part and parcel of being a parent but it doesn't need to eat you up, consume you whole and make you feel totally BAD rather BAD-ASS.
