I'm 34 weeks pregnant today 🎉 and my consultant

I'm 34 weeks pregnant today 🎉 and my consultant said if this little pumpkin 🎃 wants to come anytime from now, he wouldn't be worried! Obviously, I want her to bake some more but it's another reassuring milestone in my rainbow pregnancy. She's actually the size of a pineapple 🍍 now not a pumpkin but that wouldn't be very seasonal would it so let's run with this! After lots of questions in my dms after sharing my experience about loss, conception and pregnancy at 40 in my Stories, I've blogged about my journey over at honestmum.com if you'd like a read (link in the bio). Fyi, I bought this pretty pumpkin, several sweet smaller ones and an olive tree from the super @darlingbudsofwindsor (thanks for the naughty discount) so do go check her out. (Oh and yes, my sofas currently house a million cushions and my husband hates them all!!)...I think I'll be making some pumpkin soup 🍜 over the weekend, what are you all up to? There’s nothing better than friends unless they’re friends brandishing chocolate and we certainly filled our boots with delicious fine French food @cote_brasserie Windsor and chocolatey desserts (I’m obsessed with their velvety dark chocolate mousse). Sharing a little camera dump of a happy-making, nourishing lunch with my beautiful friends and a few snaps taken in Windsor this week. Mirror mirror…Went mirror shopping earlier and thought I’d take some bump pics (as you do) to mark turning #33weekspregnant today as every week feels like a milestone worth celebrating. The baby is now the size of a butternut squash and whilst I was tempted to brandish one in these shots (Waitrose is just next door) I thought I might just get thrown out of @danielofwindsor!!! Feeling so grateful to be firmly in the final sprint of pregnancy now as my consultant would like my baby here in my 38th week and in all honesty, I’ll only fully relax once she’s here after suffering a missed miscarriage late last year. It’s #babylossawarenessweek and I’ll be lighting a candle tonight at 7pm to join the wave of light 🕯 to honour our angel baby, and all the other babies who couldn’t stay but will live forever in their families’ hearts. My missed miscarriage (where you only discover you’ve lost your baby at a scan) was utterly devastating, I was alone when I found out as it was during lockdown, and the pain emotionally and physically (I required surgery) was indescribably heartbreaking. I feel so grateful for this rainbow 🌈 baby girl (they think the baby we lost was a girl too) and I’m thinking and holding those with empty arms and fertility struggles in my heart today and all days. #rainbowbaby #babyloss #babygirl #pregnancy #thirdtrimester #pregnant #bump #bumpprogress #bumpside #bumppic #miscarriage #miscarriageawareness #missedmiscarriage

<Ad, gift> Feeling grateful for all the gorgeous gifts for the little lady has been sent. I’ll spread them out over the coming months. Thank you @shnuggle for the sweet baby bath, baby bath brush and the moonlight sleep friendly portable nightlight I know will be so useful. We’re also excited to try the @rockitrocker portable baby rocker which attaches onto strollers and prams to help the babies sleep and also the Zed which soothes babies to sleep too, mimicking the rhythm of a car. My youngest is 9 now so I’m loving discovering all these brands and gadgets I’d not heard of before for the new baby who will be here in just 5 weeks!!! It really does feel like starting all over again to be honest, help, I’ve forgotten everything. Why did no one tell me about the beauts that are Portsmouth and Hayling Island?! We had a blissful long weekend family Baby Moon enjoying the Indian Summer in October last weekend and as Xander cried when we left, I felt his pain. Nowhere beats being by the sea. While we probably won’t move that far when it comes to our forever home, Peter sent me over the edge when he emailed me a house in our budget there with a swimming pool 😭!
