A fun-filled long weekend in London.
Last Thursday was a delicious whirlwind of a day in London-and a 7 hour round trip too, (one of the reasons we're officially moving back down South to the outskirts of London, from Yorkshire later this year) but one that was worthwhile, nonetheless as it was spent having delicious fun with amazeballs people.
Welcome back to Brilliant Blog Posts and who else is excited that January is finally over? We're one month closer to spring folks and I can't wait!
Last weekend saw me head down to London for an afternoon of nostalgia and partying at The 90s Brunch (a pop up brunch) to celebrate my BBFF's (that's Best Blogging Friend Forever) Lela London's birthday!
Lela London is a self described 'pint-sized lifestyle and travel blogger' who has turned her passion for writing, photography, and entertaining into a full time job.
Saturday night was a complete whirlwind as twenty of my friends gathered at my brother's beautiful Italian restaurant Giorgio's in Rodley for fab Italian food, bubbles and a delicious two-tiered chocolate birthday cake. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right, hey?!
The greatest thing about blogging, aside from taking the bambinos travelling, of course, are the can't-live-without friendships that have come because of it. The people I don't actually remember not ever being friends with!
Where do I start with the most amazing lunch of my life?! Truly. The company. Food. Ambience. Service. The delightful energy that cheesily fed my soul as much as my tum (!). I shut my eyes and found myself on the French Rivieria in the middle of London. The Dalloway Terrace in the Bloomsbury Hotel is EVERYTHING and more.
Mid January (the 13th to be precise) saw me spend an evening with healthy, new yoghurt drink Optiwell, a bunch of bloggers, and my newest collaborator here on the blog (more of that soon) registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist Laura Clark, at the Cowshed in Shoreditch House, London.
