Welcome back people, I am hitting the sack as soon as this goes live as today hasn't been the greatest day ever, if I'm honest.
If you missed it from the title, this post is coming live to you from the Algarve in Portugal where we're having the dreamiest holiday of lives here (I literally never want to come home, *wail).
Pregnancy and post-baby pressures on our bodies can feel overwhelming at times.
I've written a couple of these 'What I've Learnt About My Kids on Holiday' style posts before, publishing my first last year during our summer holiday in the South of France...
Hey guys, Welcome back to #BrilliantBlogPosts, my linky which allows you to link up the posts and videos you want to highlight.
So half term was part 'chill out' time and part 'let's start prepping for our move down south'. We won't move until the summer and whilst I lived in London for 11 years before relocating back when Oliver was 1, it feels like quite a big move as we have two kids now.
Since leaving London, almost 6 years ago, after eleven years in the capital, I've often questioned whether we were, my husband and I, 'tired of life' as John Samuel's famous saying goes, when we departed.
The last few weeks have felt like a bit of a dream if I'm honest. A gorgeous sunny adventure in one of my favourite parts of the world: the South of France with good as gold kids and my sweetheart of a husband. I've felt like a lucky, lucky lady after quite a busy year.
Firstly, big thanks to Eurostar for inviting us to the magical town of Avignon in the South of France- and to the Avignon Tourist Board for their advice and generosity too-merci beaucoup!
Summer is here. Hip hip hooray. I literally want to punch myself in the head for writing that but bear with me, I have 2 kids under 7!
What a glorious whirlwind!
Despite the pretty crazy weather we've had this week with snow in April then glorious sunshine in May (what's going on Mama Nature?), summer is definitely the horizon which means holiday time baby!
What's your favourite thing about your family?
