My gorgeous friend, Harriet Thorpe: all-round superstar actress and one heck of an awesome human being, wasn't able to make my birthday dinner last Saturday night so she jumped on a train from London to see me in Leeds for a long lunch last Tuesday and we had a ball of a time.
Saturday night was a complete whirlwind as twenty of my friends gathered at my brother's beautiful Italian restaurant Giorgio's in Rodley for fab Italian food, bubbles and a delicious two-tiered chocolate birthday cake. If you're going to do it, you might as well do it right, hey?!
Sunday saw us head to one of my brother's Italian restaurants: Giorgio's set in a gorgeous listed building in Rodley, Leeds for an epic three course feast.
What a whirlwind of a weekend. Is it over already?! Weep.
As most weekends go, it was all about precious quality time with family and friends.
And surprisingly, this weekend was all about snow time too!
The family got together for a little New Year's Eve shindig at our house this year which was just so relaxed and warm, and well, overflowing with laughter and love.
A mush-ball of a sentence I know, but so flipping true.
This Sunday I turn 34 and on the 10th my blog turned a whopping 4! Honest Mum was officially born on the 10th of November in 2010 but like to celebrate my very FIRST POST along with my birthday!
