I was lucky enough to visit LA in 2008 when my short film Broken screened at the LA Harbour International Film Festival and I had my first introduction to the amazing city of Los Angeles.
It seems that as soon as kids start school or preschool in my case, another holiday crops up and I'm responsible for the entertainment. I'm not sure we can have another week sponsored by Cbeebies after doing nothing but watch the box and nurse colds over Christmas, so in spite of the weather I'm hoping to get the boys out and about!
Wow, it's my blog's 2 Year blogiversary (well it was on the 10th but I'm combining it with my 32nd birthday) and I can't quite believe it: two whole years since my very first post and I'm no longer 16 anymore. Shucks.
BritMums Live (for those of who don't know) is the blogging conference of the century, bringing together fabulous bloggers from all over the UK and sometimes further afield, along with inspiring, informative speakers-par example Ruby Wax, Sarah Brown, Katy Hill and others and throwing in tonnes of educational workshops from (getting published to understanding the law), cake and of course cool sponsors to network with.

So which were my best and worst films of 2011....
Sometimes I pretend I'm Claudia Winkleman and BBC Radio Leeds entertain me by inviting me in to talk films, filmmaking and erm the movies on the wireless. I recently gave my review of films in 2011 so I thought I'd enlighten those who missed it, on this here blog.
