Today’s discussion was on whether people should be risking a summer holiday abroad despite the pandemic. I personally don’t think we should. We have a social responsibility to holiday at home, to limit the risk of infection, avoid disruption whilst away if rules suddenly change (as they did in Spain recently) and importantly, to help the UK tourism and hospitality industry here which is on its knees. Enjoying a much-needed cocktail or two (and lunch Enjoying a much-needed cocktail or two (and lunch with the kids) thanks to General Manager @kezleew at gastro pub The Royal Windsor @pubroyalwindsor in the heart of Windsor today. The pub founder launched bottled cocktails: @spiritsofecstasy during lockdown, created by their award winning mixologists that you can buy online or here at the pub (every £1 from each bottle is donated to the NHS) and they’re delicious (the one you can see here has Vermouth and Prosecco in it).
