The LBD is one of the most iconic fashion statements – flattering, chic and timeless –  the perfect backdrop for vibrant, show-stopping accessories.

Here I’m wearing an exquisite, flattering LBD c/o luxe designer Baukjen.

I’m a big believer that one statement piece is never enough and I love nothing more than stylishly mix and matching statement jewellery, shoes and handbags in one look.

My ‘shoes du jour’ are this showstopping pair – not least because I designed them myself through the fabulous online bespoke shoe brand, Upper Street.

Naturally it’s every fashionista’s dream to design their own pair of shoes so when I was recently invited to the Upper Street HQ in London to create my own pair of shoes I of course jumped at the chance!

Now those who know me, will know I’m definitely no wallflower, so when presented with swatches of material I instantly made a beeline to the most vibrant colours, in the end opting for this captivating purple with electric blue animal print detail. Literally my dream combo.

And naturally I went for the highest heel too!

Because the great thing about Upper Street is that as the shoes are bespoke they’re tailored to the shape of your foot. So even in these skyscraper heels, I can walk around comfortably and have even been able to leave my ’emergency French Sole ballet pumps’ at home!

Each pair comes beautifully packaged and I love the little touches too of a keyring and gel pad inserts. Just darling!

Now back to the accessories, these chic heels needed to be paired with an equally vibrant necklace so I teamed it with this stunning lilac and pink collar by Yosa (£16). Isn’t it just darling?! What a pretty, sparkling statement necklace!
