Slower Spring Days Are Bringing Us Joy

Blossom trees glinting in the light, warm and frothy oat milk coffees sipped al fresco whatever the weather just because it’s spring, floral tea dresses on repeat with more on their way (me, and Florence now), quality time with family and friends every day/week, celebrating months of feeling myself again thanks to all of the above plus the power of hormone-balancing progesterone (I wish I’d requested it when I’d felt terrible after my first baby, Oliver)….it’s Good Friday today and the perfect day to stae that life really does feel good.

Florence is finally sleeping again after months and months of disrupted nights, thanks to restarting Omeprazole (taken in the evening as directed by her Consultant) and what a difference living in a more rested, less sleep-deprived state is for us all. I feel like all of the lights have been switched back on and I’m not operating on auto anymore. Never underestimate how derailing living without enough sleep can be.

Work-wise, I’m embarking on some decade-long dream projects I’ll be sharing more on, soon. I figured I’d share a few new developments in one go.

I’m grateful to be keeping my digital business going just working a day a week (amazing what you can achieve working smartly) and feel so lucky to be able to dedicate the majority of my time to my family who need me more than ever, especially my 16 month old Florence.

Making my work work for my family is always my top priority.

What have you all been up to?

Have you spotted some stunning blossom trees too? We’ve found these beauts in Golden Acre Park in North Leeds. The waves of tulips were spotted in Roundhay Park.

Happy Easter. We’ll be celebrating both English and Greek Easter this weekend and next so I’ll share some photos when I can.
