Are you a mum like me that heads straight to the swings when you take the little ones to the park (sorry kids)?
I’m a bit of swing hogger in all honesty and even get my kids to push me. What? They love it! I do let them on the swings too of course (sometimes), I’m not that selfish when it comes to park time 😉
A lover of swings, you can imagine how excited I was when The Climbing Frame Factory, Wickey got in touch and asked if we’d like to review this swing set for the garden!
I leapt around the kitchen like the crazy Mama that I am, as I was literally about to order a set now that we’re back from our Spanish holiday and the sun is out to play in good ol’ Yorkshire.
Come rain or shine, we love getting our swing on, in this family!
We opted for the classic Wickey SkyBob 240 wooden swing set, a traditional swing frame that can be extended as the kids grow.
Having two boys means it’s ideal for us as they can swing together (they like to compete on who swings the highest) and of course the older kids amongst us like to swing too. Yay!
Well made, big enough for erm bigger bottoms (although not advised for adults), and a pretty inclusion to the garden, these get the thumbs up from the Broadbents.
One point though, a tradesman did have to put these up for us, the instructions were not that clear (some guess work went on) and it wasn’t a quick job. Worth hiring someone as they are quality swings but wanted to give you my honest opinion, as always.
…Now the set is up, we’re considering extending it in the spring, to include a climbing frame and sandpit as well. Looks like we won’t be needing our local playground by next year at this rate.
Super, super swings!
Disclaimer: we were gifted this set in return for this review.
