Spring has finally sprung! Daffodils are blooming, the evenings are long and balmy and the Pimms is calling my name! Woohoo!
This also means a change in footwear.
Adios winter boots, hola summer shoes!
I am loving seeing pointed flats, gladiator sandals, mule slip ons, white pumps, brogues and statement heels this season after featuring heavily on the catwalks of the recent fashion weeks.
I love all accessories but shoes always make my heart flutter. In my eyes…no heel is too high or toe too pointy. As Carrie Bradshaw once said…’I’m not afraid of heights…have you seen my shoes’.
So, below I’ve rounded up my favourite styles for the season and as it’s Fashion Friday, please don’t forget to share your own style posts too – both old and new and as many as you want to add, are welcome.
Tan High Heel Sandals, Kurt Geiger – £230
This season let your feet do the talking with a pair of statement heels. These beauties from Kurt Geiger are influenced by this season’s ethnic trend with teal tassels and beading.
Converse All Stars White Mono Leather, Office – £54.99
This season, keep your pumps crisp, clean and all white. Trek through muddy parks at your peril!
Metallic gold lace-up gladiator sandals, River Island – £50
The gladiator sandal is back! (Did it ever go away?!) This metallic pair from River Island are perfect for summer parties, adding a touch of glamour to any outfit.
Rogues Dolly Mix pink suede Derby shoes, Harvey Nichols – £170
Walk on the wild side with these animal print and pink suede brogues – exclusive to Harvey Nichols. I love the unique faded aqua lace detailing.
Alexa Chung’s shoe of choice, the pointy flat, is this season’s go-to trend for fashionistas. These blush Valentino flats are a super chic alternative to black for the summer months. I’m obsessed with the Greek-style gold, black and turquoise embellishment too.
KOLA Mule Loafers, Topshop – £59
Mules are back baby! And this time they’ve upped their style game! Once again Topshop have nailed this trend with these metallic mule loafers. A season must-buy!
Have you got a spring in your step too?
