Those who follow this blog know what a jewel loving magpie I am, only fuelled by Pinterest (damn you Pinterest eating away my hard earned cash) but what a hub of sparkly inspiration (I even had my engagement ring upgraded and re-set thanks to the art deco rings I spied there)…but I digress, watches too have a special place in my sometimes materialistic heart!
A bit of a collector of Michael Kors and Marc Jacob numbers, I like to alternate my watch to match my outfit and use the few I have as accessories.
My stylish Mum and I even like to share our time pieces (my Mama is so cool)-I must add though that she doesn’t let me borrow her more expensive ones (how selfish huh?!) I do love seeing her rock MK watches though, she loves a silver one with diamond-esque detail and a larger rose gold watch.
I must admit though I do have a wishlist of dream watches too-a lust for just one, any one of the three that have caught my heart. One of these stunners below would simply make my time telling dreams come true…
I reckon one would make an ideal gift for my next birthday (hint hint to my husband if he’s reading) and if financially possible of course or when I turn 35 the following year-a timeless, designer piece I’ll own forever, a Chanel, a Longines or Omega-one to treasure, always.
I’m happy and grateful of course to go with a pre-owned or vintage number to keep the cost down and I’ve been checking out independent stores and big online sites to find the best deals out there (always good to get the research in)…
My happy place has to be Watches of Switzerland, home to new and pre-owned beauties I could sit and ‘watch’ all day (sorry) -this fashionista sure loves her arm candy and these three are making me smile…
I love this ladies Omega Constellation watch-a sharp classic that will never go out of style.
Aw this Chanel Premier Ladies Watch is what my precious metal dreams are made of.
The Chanel Premiere watch features a black dial housed in a 16 x 22mm stainless steel case, a real show stopper of a watch. The bracelet is also stainless steel and comes in a chain- like design I love. A quartz movement provides the power and is water resistant up to 30 metres although not sure I would trust myself to swim with it!
Longines has been one of the pillars of the watch industry, truly renowned for their mechanical timepieces and I’ve been lusting after a Longine for erm, a long time! (Sorry)!
This Conquest Classic is divine, bold with a diameter of 29.5 mm and the bezel houses 12 wesselton diamonds for added sparkle.
How gorgeous are these, I better get saving huh!
How about you, are you a high street or designer girl when it comes to watches and which are your three dream timepieces?
