My Cousin Georgia’s 21st Birthday Party

Last Saturday night saw me pretend I was 21 again as I celebrated my cousin Georgia’s 21st.

Georgia and I are so incredibly close and the whole night was simply incredible.  It is nearly a week later though, and I’m tired. I’ve come to realise I am far from 21. Weep.

The theme for the event was masquerade ball and I found this purrrrr-fect mask for the occasion! I didn’t realise it was a cat-mask with whiskers when I bought it.

‘Mummy you look like a pussy cat’ declared Alexander when I popped it on. Erm…

It wasn’t rocked for a lot of the night.

I did proudly wear this stunning new velvet and lace dress from Marks and Spencers’ Limited Collection though.

Delicate lace arms and neck detail with thick, luscious velvet made for a glamorous frock for the night.

Gothic glamour is huge this winter, so I teamed the dress with vampy lips in my fave Mac shade of Rebel and dark smokey eyes.

I also rocked the straight hair for a change – what do you think?

Here I am with my hot mama and stunning Auntie Zak, who wears a dress from Morgan.

What can I say?! We’re a family of LBD lovers!

It’s the perfect party outfit!

Ready and raring to go, we hot footed it over the Pennines to Manchester to the swish Hallmark hotel for a delicious 3 course dinner followed by some serious booty shaking on the dance floor!

There’s nothing like being surrounded with all your family celebrating the most beautiful girl in the world (inside and out-truly), Georgia.

Could not love this girl more.

A dress fit for a princess!

I had so much fun catching up with family

Gorgeous Aunty Angelou with her mask on, pouting for the camera (we all love the camera in this family)!

…and of course doing my thang on the dance floor!

I reckon I gave those 21 year olds a run for their money that night!

Although I’m only 22 right?! 😉

I made a vlog (that granted is a little bit shaky due to the director erm, shaking her booty a bit much) but I captured a few bits of the night for posterity.

These are my favourite kind of videos- the ones that are almost home videos or family archives, treasured films I will always look back on with fond memories and a big smile on my face.

Enjoy, it’s an entertaining one!

Don’t miss Day 2 (I’m look a little hungover) as my Auntie Loulla, award winning chef and restaurateur of Kosmos Taverna in Manchester cooks us up a feast and I get to meet my gorgeous baby cousin!
