Yesterday, I was invited to the grand opening of Mamas & Papas’ new flagship store in the Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds.
Already a huge fan of the brand, most of my children’s wardrobe and nursery items are from the store. An Italian family run business, their items are all so super chic, well made and enduring.
Excitingly, the lovely Sarah Cawood, Angellica Bell, Michael Underwood and their gorgeous son along with blogger and One Born Every Minute Mum Heather Frachesca and her family were also at the opening.
Together we shared stories on parenting (Angellica is pregnant with her second child and looks amazing) and had great fun perusing the charming new shop. Mint in Leeds were on hand (literally) giving out free manicures and massages to mothers and my own Mum and I enjoyed our bright pink and red nails respectively!
The thing that truly stood out along with how pretty the branch is (and how relaxing it is-rare with a kid’s shop and on the busiest day as the centre opened too) was how much the family (above) behind the business, care. They really understand what parents want and need from them and their customer service is beyond brilliant. Kind, knowledgeable staff in store makes shopping so much easier for busy parents. Well done on such superb customer training M&P, it really shows!
We were kindly given vouchers to spend in store and were truly spoilt for choice. I opted to use some of these on beautiful baby boy outfits and bibs for Alexander, a 2.5 tog grow bag he will be sleeping in and lots of neutral baby grows. I will be receiving a mattress for his cot soon too as he will no doubt be outgrowing his crib shortly and shall bring you a review on it when it arrives.
It was a really fun morning followed by a gourmet burger lunch in the shopping centre and some retail therapy for this Mama…thank you Mamas & Papas for such a lovely day! I’ll be back!
