I’ve milked my 37th birthday to be honest because why not, hey?! I wasn’t actually in the mood for partying since the passing of my auntie Zak but if it’s one thing she taught me, it was to embrace and enjoy life.
The 16th was on a Thursday this year, making it the perfect excuse to spread the celebrations out into a long weekend of fun with family and friends, and there was nowhere as special as Cliveden House Spa to spend my big day.
Meeting up with my good friend Charlotte at Cliveden House, we proceeded to live out our best lives as Ladies of the Manor. It was literally the MOST PERFECT birthday imaginable which was kicked off with a morning run in the spa’s state-of-the-art gym overlooking the Grade I outdoor pool and clock tower (what a view) before a day of swimming, massages and dips in the hot tub…Oh, and a champagne lunch to boot (please don’t hate me).
Now let me show you around!

We were so lucky that the sun came out to play too…and all day long on a day it wasn’t scheduled to. Zak loved the sun and I felt it was her smiling down at me on my birthday.
I am so incredibly grateful to James, the Business Development Manager at Cliveden House for all his kindness and for making my 37th birthday one I’ll never forget.
James actually reached out to me when I first moved to Windsor, welcoming me to the area and he’s given my family and I the most amazing experiences there since we arrived in Berkshire and I feel truly touched by his generosity. James is the most amazing chap (you’ll get to meet him in the vlog below so don’t miss it) and I feel lucky to have made a friend in him!
…Charlotte and I literally floated out of Cliveden House at the end of the day feeling utterly rested and relaxed. What a spa-the massages were the best of our lives! Book in for a spa day if you know what’s good for you!
After all that R &R, I was ready to party like it was 1999 (99 was probably the last time I partied like that to be fair) and Saturday night was all about great friends, Greek food and dancing, and so much laughter. My jaw literally ached the following day and I’d lost my voice. Sign of an epic night!
Thanks to Next for my glitter dress of dreams for the evening soiree, and for Lauren of Wardrobe Doctor, my stylist, for ALWAYS knowing what suits me!
Here I am with my sister from another mister Lela London and her boyf Michael, Jason Collier , my bestie and hairstylist and my kids and husband, Peter.
Jason gave me a birthday blow dry before we hit the town and isn’t is DIVINE. What a friend! Oh, and how cool is my unicorn birthday cake created by cake genius Kerry of The Berkshire Bakesmith. It was painful cutting into it!
#Poser.
One more pic for good luck!
P.S Kerry has kindly shared the recipe for my unicorn cake on the blog!
More shots from an impromptu photo shoot pre-meal, because you know me, people!
The Real Greek restaurant was pretty dark but Peter managed to snap a few pics of us all in action.
Here I am with my gorgeous girl Mirka of All Baby Advice and Fitness 4 Mamas.
…And more wonderful friends including darling actor friends Harriet Thorpe and Angela Dixon!
Enjoying the sparkler with my good pal Jacqui of Jacquipaterson.com and Jason!
The theme of the night (in my head) was what would a 37 year old Joan Collins do/wear! I think I did her proud, don’t you?!
This final photo truly reflects the night: a joy from start to end! Hilarious fun with amazing people!
It’s sounds cheesy af but I feel so very loved right now, and that’s all this 37 year could ever want, or need.
Thanks guys!
Opa!
