Although aged just 6 and 3 respectively, Oliver and Xander have got a trainer collection to rival Kanye-OK maybe not Kanye but Saint at least 😉 That’s how blogger kids roll these days huh!
Lucky chaps!
Seriously though, how cool are these kicks from the latest sneaker collection from kids’ footwear specialist Clarks? I want them in my size please!
I too am a huge fan of Clarks, having worn their shoes as a child (who else has fond memories of having their shoe size measured in the Clarks’ stores?) and my very first shoes in fact were t-bar patent red numbers I was determined to leave with! My Mum had wanted black!
See I was always a statement shoe-lover!
Now as a parent I adore both their kid and adult ranges-Clarks are a label you can count of for amazing quality as well as value for money, comfort and of course, style.
I love these street style kicks the boys were recently gifted by the store as part of Clarks’ celebration of the release of the Disney’s EPIC Zootropolis.
…Knitted-style runners are a fashion bloggers’ fave and Clarks has brilliantly adapted this popular street style trend into a children’s version with the Sprint Knit as worn by Xander.
I love the contrasting electric blue and black upper knitted section, which are really eye-catching and contemporary.
The trainers come with a contoured EVA sole with lateral grooves while a bungee lace fastening secures the shoe.
The Air Spring FX technology provides cushioning underfoot and they’re machine washable! Bonus!
Oliver was gifted these AMAZINGLY vibrant Adven Go trainers-how cool is the red, blue and white design?
These athletic sneakers are durable and robust yet still incredibly lightweight.
They are stylish yet also practical thanks to the TPU welding on the mesh upper- and they are easy to lace up too, a must for busy kids on the go.
…A non-marking sole delivers flexible comfort whilst the linings are made from waterproof and breathable fabric-something which helps to banish bacteria and keep feet fresh.
The perfect shoes for sprinting through the park!
On your marks, get set…Go!
And can we take a quick minute to appreciate the stunning riverside park where we shot these photos. A lush hideaway where nature meets Yorkshire’s industrial heritage close to our home!
,,,The boys were also sent these super sweet Zootropolis toys as part of Clarks’ partnership with Disney to celebrate the movie’s release-they now come everywhere with us. Cute!
Zootropolis might well be my favourite animation film to date-a movie so smart, laugh out loud funny and endlessly layered-with many a political metaphor, you literally forget it’s a kids’ film at all…Fear not though, your children will no doubt LOVE it for its fast paced furry loveliness (Oliver said the ‘flashing eyes of the predators were scary’ though).
The overarching message that we’re all wonderfully unique and must find a way to live together in peace gave it the Disney happy ending we all need in life as much as in the movies. I predict an Oscar win for this in 2017. Hats off to Disney.
And hats off to Clarks!
Not get your kicks and head to the flicks now!
