On set a series of shorts made for the NHS/Department of Health.

For those who don’t know, I’m a freelance writer/director directing drama, documentary, shorts, promos and music videos. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the leading production companies in the world and for diverse broadcasters from the BBC to film company Lionsgate UK- and I’ve even scooped some awards to boot along the way. I love my job-truly, I feel like I get to play and get paid for it.

Here is my showeel (a short montage of clips featuring work I’ve directed) to give you a taste of what I do. You can also click on my website here. Enjoy.

Showreel edited by Edward Kinnear.

Original music by Adam Easton.

Thanks lovely, funnily a lot of my new work was too stationery and it’s all about the action but quite a few new bits in there! x

Lady, you are one talented mummy. Just been on your website and loved your masterclass. It’s clear you have such a talent and passion for what you do *stands up and applauds* xx

Thanks lovely and wow your sister’s work is awesome. I do love what I do and yes the early starts when I’m shooting can be hard but I think I’ve become a lot tougher since the arrival of O-that endurance training of two hourly wake ups for so long has really helped!

Love your showreel and your official website! It’s brilliant that your work is something you love and are obviously very good at! My sister is a make-up artist in films (www.angiemudge.com) and is married to a cameraman! I once trained in continuity, but I did not much enjoy the 4am starts in Jan/Feb 🙂

You are one talented lady. And remember if you are ever in Baltimore filming I am available as ‘lady in brown raincoat chatting in background at Starbucks’

    Hi Honest Mum,

I love your work. I have a little experience of the industry myself but from the other side of the camera (sort of) My daughter although only 9 years old is an actress. She plays the lead role in a TV series that airs in the UK, Canada and on the Disney Channel in Australia. Last year she was in a Warner brothers movie that was directed by Wachowski’s (she had a scene with Tom Hanks and Halle Berry) and this week we are filming a new ITV drama starring Rupert Penry-Jones. It is a really exciting industry to be part of and the people in it are great fun. Who knows maybe we’ll meet up on set one day.
