Honest Mum and family

More and more people kick off the new year with ‘Dry January’ or the halfway house ‘Damp January’ (reserving drinks for special occasions in Jan rather than abstaining completely), and after drinking a fair bit over the festive season myself (I’m such a lightweight I’m merry after one drink), I’m joining in mid-month with Britvic’s #SoberNotSorry campaign. They’re helping me with their healthy thirst quenchers, yummy mocktails, weeknight quick fixes and soft drinks the whole family are loving-from Robinsons to Aqua Libra to Drench. Just look how protective Oliver is over the hamper above ;)!

Honest Mum and Britvic Hamper

Whether you’re looking to go tee-total this month (or even all year), or simply hoping to lower your alcohol intake after full-on festivities, your ‘sober’ soft drinks don’t need to be sombre, believe me!

I’m not a big drinker but I do enjoy a glass of vegan wine a few nights a week and if you follow my Instagram Stories, you’ll known I’m partial to the odd whisky, but since opening up this amazing Britvic hamper of soft drinks (you can win one yourself at the end of the post), I’ve not once poured myself an alcoholic drink. Cheers to that!

I stopped drinking ten months ago and have never looked back. As a Mum, it’s been the best decision I have ever made for myself and my kids because I couldn’t moderate unfortunately. I am much better without! I love this hamper, we need more positive approaches like this.

Hey…I’ve been virtually teetotal since 1990. I have the occasional glass of wine or glass of cider. It would be nice to sample soft drinks that I haven’t tried before .

After suffering dry January think I deserve some ‘quality’ soft drinks and mixers to pep up my alcohol 😋

I’m a bit sick of alcohol – and I’m trying to set a better example for my daughter so I’m going the sober route! My Mum doesn’t drink and I always think that is why she looks so amazing for her age
