Welcome back to Brilliant Blog Posts!
It’s taken me what has felt like hours to upload this post as I was on a train from Manchester to London with failing wi-fi-but I’m home now and it’s finally live! Yay!
I was in Manchester as I was on BBC Breakfast this morning on BBC1 discussing Serena Williams’ instagram picture where she shared her mum-guilt and the difficulties we all face in juggling of work/ ambition and motherhood.
It’s honest admissions like her’s which makes us all feel less alone and greater supported.
You can watch it below if you missed it.
This week I’ve linked up a post on attending the premiere of Christopher Robin which I won’t lie, was pretty insane as the paparazzi took mine and the kids’ photos. We’ve been kindly photographed for press at events before but never at a premiere and it was rather surreal if I’m honest. This year is proving to be a bit bonkers and I’m so grateful for everyone’s support as the Honest Mum brand grows.
…Whenever I attend premieres, I’m reminded of my first-love: film and hope that one day I’ll be photographed as the director of my own debut feature film. Come on universe, make it happen!
I still want to blog of course, and to plan to, forever but making my own movie is one of my big dreams….
Please, as always link up posts, videos and social statuses, and comment on my post and others which catch your eye.
Don’t forget to link back to my post on your work too please.
Thanks x

Hello! Happy to be apart of this linky! Can’t wait to see what everyone is sharing.
I wish I could have a movie about me too but then what would it be about? Chasing my kids around? IDK!
Oh I want to direct a movie! x
Me and my husband work at the BBC in Salford – he often directs/vision mixes Breakfast. Pity I wasn’t there today, I’d have popped in to say hello!
