If you guys follow me here, you’ll know I’m a bit bit obsessed with fashion and how empowering and transformative clothes can be-and now the weather is turning, it’s time to add another coat to the collection.
And I do like to collect coats, I take this from my mother who has so many she literally has two closets full of them in one of the spare rooms from stunning vintage numbers to designer and high street finds I sometimes like to borrow (forever) myself!
I like to mix things up each year, I lived in a leopard print coat last winter and a cropped leather one, both from Topshop, pairing the latter with big bold printed scarves. I also love my Chanel inspired Zara jackets for a smarter look.
But it’s time for a change..
Looking online, I adore Esprit for their chic, finely cut and flattering A/W coats and jackets and here are my top 3 which I’ll be rocking mostly over cashmere jumpers by I LOVE CASHMERE and skinny jeans. Lush.
I’d love to know which ones you LOVE yourself in the comments?!
1. Soft Wool Coat with an XL CollarIn love with this striking, classic black double breasted coat with wide lapels and front pockets. Effortlessly stylish, I know this would never date. How gorgeous are the leather trousers and ankle boots with it too? £139.
2. Sunset Pink Coat
Pink coats were de rigeur last year and my peachy pink Topshop number was a hit. This year thought, I want to go a little lighter, especially with my newly dark hair! I adore this sunset pink coat, I love how the uniform, more functional shape toughens up the girly hue. Perfection. £129.
3. Parka
Parkas remind me of working on set as a director as I’d often be in one as would a lot of the crew. It also takes me back to student days and like a beautifully fitted black coat, I believe a parka is a classic. I adore the tartan lining and khaki will always be cool. £125.
So which is your fave?

I think the black wool coat with the over-sized collar is the winner for me. I could wear that to smarten up a casual rock-look with skinny jeans and a band-tee, or it would totally work for an evening out with heels and a dress. And Vicki, I can see some awesome shiny black skinnies there too… Want. X
Oh fab thanks lady, so going to follow your recommendation and search their jeans section, love your style options above too, Mummy’s got style huh x
Mummy definitely tries, Vicki x
