Comfy Style

I’m officially hibernating until summer but when I do HAVE to leave the house (because you know, school-runs and supermarket shops are inescapable, and even when we DO sort an online delivery out, there’s always something we’ve missed), it’s all about the cosy gear right now.

These tights are 100 denier and could have done with thermal leggings over the top but I’ve yet to buy those but it’s on the list because I can’t handle another day of bum freeze!

The dress here is c/o Next and I’ve added this cream oversized Topshop jumper for warmth and cute factor, and a blue Topshop beanie style hat. The long grey gloves are Zara and the fluffy pink earrings are last year’s Topshop or maybe H&M. Sorry #badfashionblogger.

…Even the hat is oversized by the way because the small was too small, the medium, too huge. My stupid head.

On the feet are my faves: my rose gold Converse I live in.

Pre-Windsor dwelling, I was definitely not a flats kind of girl. I love the height heels give me (I’m around 5’6″ without heels although feel like I’m shrinking which I’m presuming is a thing post-35???) but walking literally EVERYWHERE here, means bye bye heels and hello trainers.

I want a few pairs of smarter trainers and slightly regret not opting for the sparkly pair of Converse, too. I was sure they’d be too seasonal but I reckon sparkle isn’t just Christmas?

Here, is another recent shot where I’m wearing a casual H&M dress at £9 with Topshop bobble hat, a Zara set of grey gloves and a stunning purple scarf which doubles up as a blanket (I can’t remember where I bought it from-Accessorise maybe?), and brown Barbour boots (gifted). Still comfy-chic but with a little heel as I was heading into London.
