I LOVE my blogging life, it's everything and more I could have wished for from a way of life and full time job which sees me share what matters to me.
It's a transitional time of year, some days are freezing cold, others are faux summer's days. What's a stylish gal to do?
I've pondered a while whether I should write this post, air my views and explore a subject that frankly, needs more airing and exploring. A grey area I've shied away from writing. For fear of being judged, of being considered 'too white' to have experienced racism, for fear of not being taken seriously.
So here it comes, a proud admission that I'm a little bit in love with Justin Bieber.
So today I popped over to one of my all-time favourite blogs, The Joy Chaser, written by my good pal Michelle, who never fails to inspire and spread joy through her words-and this post of her's HERE stopped me in my tracks and reminded me of the importance of fighting our fears.
Let me start off by stating this post applies to Dads too, it's just 'Father Hustler' doesn't sound as cool as Mother Hustler and you know Mama's got some street cred going on right here so let's stick with it (ha, as if).
Migraines. Don't you just HATE them?! Mine are so excruciatingly painful and although I only get them every few years, they freak me out when they happen.
What a whirlwind of a weekend. Is it over already?! Weep. As most weekends go, it was all about precious quality time with family and friends. And surprisingly, this weekend was all about snow time too!
I can't believe my 'baby' turned 6 on Sunday.
So today I bumped into an old boyfriend in the post office, as you do (this never happens). It was really sweet seeing him again, especially as the last time we met up was about 17 whole years ago-and now we're 35 and 36 respectively. Wow.
