brilliant blog posts linky

So gutted about the England game but those boys did us proud right?! If there’s only one post/ article you read today, then make it this one in The Guardian on the new culture of the team, how a sports psychologist changed their mindset turning fear into adventure and how to handle the pressures of social media. It’s fascinating as much as its empowering and just what we need to takeaway from this momentous journey we’ve all been on, with England.

Now, this week has seen me feel so much stronger post-op (4 weeks on) and I’m back to my productive self with lots of posts going live-yay!

I’ve linked up a few below so take your pick from this lot: 10 ways to improve your life, my love for Love Island and this family’s thoughts on Incredibles 2 after we attended the premiere on Sunday and were lucky enough to attend a drawing masterclass with Oscar winning screenwriter and director Brad Bird the week before. Something none of us will forget…

Honest Mum and family attend the premiere of Incredibles 2

Told you I’ve been productive! This Mumboss is back!

Please do link up as many posts as you like in the linky, and videos too (I’ve personally set myself a challenge to create videos over on YT, weekly and I’ve even been filming today), comment on any of the posts which catch your eye (the more the better) and most importantly, have fun!

…Speaking of being on camera folks, myself and Maggy of Red Ted Art fame are hosting our next Creative Women’s Network event in London on Wed the 18th (next week at 11.30-2.30pm) at Plate London at the M by Montcalm Hotel with Ab Fab star and my close friend Harriet Thorpe speaking about her career and how you can become confident on camera. There are a few spots left but do be quick. You can book HERE.

Hope to see you there.

Enjoy the linky!

So sorry that your boys didn’t make it to the final match, but my, did they do a fine job!! I’m very glad to hear that you’re feeling like your old self. I just love your boys’ leafy shirts—so adorbs!

Super, you have been busy! Yes I watched the football, and had the same feeling as before. Such a shame, but they tried really hard. Thank you for hosting. Jacqui Mummabstylish

Such a shame! Not only did England loose but my car was broken into outside the pub where I was watching the match!
Glad to hear you’re well on the mend Vicki. I’m popping over to read your love island post. Am I the only one in the country not watching? I need to find out about it! xx

I read that Guardian article this morning! I bookmarked it because I thought it had so many brilliant tips – not just for sport, but life in general.
