Happy New Year bloggers, I hope you’ve all had a thoroughly wonderful Christmas.
Welcome back to the first #brilliantblogposts linky of the year and for those new to the linky, hi, where’ve you been-come join in, everybody’s welcome!
Add as many posts as you like, across all genres, old or new that you deem brilliant, add my badge or link back and share the love. I ask you kindly comment on my post and at least 2 others linked up but of course, the more you comment on, the greater the response to your own posts.
I’m linking up a post I wrote last week on Be Who You Want To Be and I hope it motivates and inspires you even in the smallest of ways.
My message is that you can redefine who you are and what you want to do, at any point in your life ( I know I have, many times over, this blogging career a case in point) and you can change your mind, choose a different path any time too (not just in the new year). Please don’t put yourself in a box or let others contain you and your potential in any way.
Go for all the things you dreamed of big and small and most importantly what makes you happy!
This year for me is about structure, streamlining my work life with that on going eternal search for balance as a priority.
I’ve already set to being more organised rather than flying by the seat of my pants and cramming deadlines like I did all those years ago at uni. I’ve changed my work hours, giving myself a lot more down time and switching off on an evening as a rule. And let me tell you, it feels good people!
2014 was full of adventure, it was a complete whirlwind of fun, lots of hard work and much appreciated opportunities, and although another whirlwindy year is very welcome (who wants a boring life hey?!) I want to take time to slow down more in between the craziness too! This year is about kindness more than ever too, to myself and others, to taking the time for daily random acts of kindness, to being more thoughtful, mindful and understanding. To continue yoga and eating healthily…
Christmas was a chance to relax and reflect, to appreciate the little things in the every day that are so important and simply ‘be’- allowing me to return back to this blog feeling happier and re-energised, ready for 2015.
I want to take a moment to thank you guys for reading my blog, for all your comments, support, friendship and just general awesomeness , it really means the flipping world to me that you take the time to read and connect with me here and on social media so THANK YOU guys… now lets see those brilliant blog posts!
Here’s to a cracker of a year for us all!

Although I have been reading your lovely blog for a while, this is my first time linking up with you! I love the “year of kindness” idea, I think as mummies especially it is essential to be kind to ourselves and one another. I have shared a post about my three year old triplets starting nursery – a huge milestone for us in the new year. x
Thanks so much Kimberly, kindness is so important and it needs to be at the heart of what we all do. I agree as parents, we need it more than ever and to be kind to ourselves is crucial too. Oh wow, that is a big milestone, I can’t wait to read it. Thanks so much for linking up x
