Welcome back to another Brilliant Blog Posts. Today, I’m sharing my trip to London last week which was a complete and utter whirlwind of a few days where I had lots of exciting meetings, got my hair done by my great pal Jason Collier, stylist to the stars (and little old me) and I even got to interview the amazing Dawn O’Porter.
Thanks too, to the gorgeous Royal Garden Hotel, below, for inviting me to stay with them again. They always make me feel like a princess there. Do check them out if you haven’t yet stayed.
I vlogged the two days too- and it’s a pretty funny film so don’t miss it!
As always, please comment on my linked up post and others which catch your eye. Tweet me your urls if you want me to RT @Honestmum and don’t forget to add my badge/link back on every post you link up.
Don’t forget, you can add as many posts as you like and they can be old or new ones too.
…Today has been a bit of a meh day if I’m honest, the daylight saving clock change has meant my youngest waking up at crazy o’clock (4 am today-nice) and I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself. Yep there’s a pity party over here today I’m afraid.
Totally unlike me really but we all get bad days hey and I just wanted to be honest and say this is how I’m feeling right now and if you’re having a tough day, you’re not alone.
BIG HUGS!
Tomorrow is a brand new day hey!
Now go add your posts and enjoy the party!
I’m heading to bed soon to catch up on Made in Chelsea, Towie and Housewives of Cheshire. Bliss!
P.S Bit excited for tomorrow as I’m in the December issue of Red Magazine. On November 26th I’m speaking at their Your Career in Tech Workshop where I’ll be taking part in a Q&A with the Deputy Editor Sarah Tomczak. Read more about the event and buy your tickets HERE.

I usually feel a bit down in the dumps at this time of year because we go on holiday during half term and come back from glorious sunshine to the clocks having gone back and it’s all dark and miserable. I keep reminding myself to be grateful that I got to go on holiday in the first place but I’m just not a winter person!
Aw it is hard though, holiday blues coupled with dark nights. I think I suffer with SAD x
Girl, your feet never touch the ground! We’ve had a manic few weeks too. Could do with a night at the Royal Garden…
Do it, love that hotel so much! x
I really chuckled at your Hagrid hair… mine just does that if I don’t wrangle the beast, especially if there’s moisture in the air!
I love the look of that salon – how decadent? One day I’ll a) stay in one place long enough, and b) be somewhere where they speak enough English for me to be able to get my unruly mop sorted out! It’s great living a nomadic life, and moving from country to country, but the trade-off is that I miss out on things like getting my hair done!
Your hair, however, looked smashing once Jason was done with you. And yeah, I totally have smooth, shiny hair envy!
As ever, thank you for hosting the linkup!
Aw thanks darling-love that, it was absolutely Hagrid hair. Your life sounds so exciting x
It’s certainly interesting, Vicky – but I’ve travelled all my life, so I don’t really know any different. I do sometimes miss my enormous kitchen in the UK though!
Aw amazing you’ve travelled so much, travelling is joyous! x
A few days I London must be fabulous!
Always love my trips to London. We used to live there so nice to get back weekly for my hit x
We all have those days—and as my husband always says…”this too shall pass”!
What a fun time you always seem to have—you really know such interesting people!!
