I can’t believe the day is here, publication day (!). I’m shocked that Waterstones and indie stockists have already got the book in as readers have tweeted pictures of it (which literally brought tears to my eyes)! WOW!
May 3rd sees sees me celebrating with readers and my friends and family at two very special events. First-up I’m being interviewed by Deputy Editor of Marie Claire UK Andrea Thompson at a Q & A at The Royal Garden Hotel (I’m their resident blogger) before a book signing and Mumboss afternoon tea.
Then it’s a quick dress change and party time at Mahiki Kensington who are kindly throwing me a party for 200 that the press are attending too.
I will be sharing the day with you once I’ve recovered (!), I head to Scotland for the Life and Style festival in Edinburgh the following day and I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support and love over the last 7 years, it’s because of you lot I got to write this book. Right, Oscar speech over, come link up your blog posts and videos and have fun!
If you fancy buying the book, you can on Amazon and I’d really appreciate you leaving me a review.
This week I’m linking up a post where I interview entrepreneur and Dragon from Dragon’s Den Deborah Meaden so don’t miss it.
Lastly, I’m hugely honoured to have been asked to become an ambassador for children’s charity The Sir Hubert Von Herkomer Arts Foundation (other ambassadors are Kate Moss, Sadie Frost, Helen McCrory OBE, Damien Lewis and Billie Piper amongst others, which is committed to supporting and inspiring children by offering access to free creative courses in London. This portrait taken by exquisite photography Debbi Clark will feature in an art exhibition in September which will raise money for the foundation. I love the way Debbi has captured my spirit and personality in the portraits she took of me. I’ll be sharing more soon!
Until next week darlings,
