Welcome back guys! We’re settling into Windsor well and completely loving it. This week I’ve linked up a post about our move (that was pretty emotional to write) and I’m also sharing our stay at the 2 Michelin stars Belmond Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons, Raymond Blanc OBE’s exquisite hotel and restaurant.
I’ve had such an exciting week since moving South with an appearance on Good Morning Britain, a radio day with LeapFrog, a meet up with fashion designer Julian McDonald, and an exciting film project out soon. And breathe!
Peter being on holiday for two weeks has really helped me juggle work commitments and the move and I’ve even had a chance to take a few days off to (which has mostly consisted of picnics in the park and posing in front of Instagrammable houses in Windsor as below)!
It’s also been so lovely to be stopped by readers in the street here and quite odd as this year has seen me being recognised a lot out and about. My friends and family find it hilarious and have nicknamed me Mariah! In a funny way, it’s made me feel I’m never really alone and everyone is always so kind and sweet.
I’m missing family and friends but know we’ll be happy here and it was the right move for us.
Now, as always please come link up your blog posts and videos and go share that beautiful blog love. Please do comment on one of my linked up posts along with lots of others which catch your eye.
If you want a RT too, tweet me @honestmum using the #brillblogposts hashtag. Do follow me on instagram here too!
Enjoy x

I’ve recently come across your profile and I am now hooked. Being a woman that’s closing into 40 in a couple years and juggles a senior role in the City with an award winning interiors blog and family life + dog, I totally love reading about equally active mums who love life and live it to the full. You have great style and are so approachable, it’s refreshing. Looking forward to reading you more, hope you settle well and if you need any help designing any room, please don’t hesitate to reach out, would love to work with you and use my interior brands contacts to help you reach a great result (I would not charge for my Designs and we could probably get lovely brands to gift product for makeovers, nothing to lose there 😉
That’s really kind, thank you Jenny and congrats on your success. We have worked with some lovely interior designs brands in the past. We collaborated with Wickes on our house in Yorkshire and they gave us the most exquisite bathroom! So glad you are enjoying the blog 🙂
I don’t know how you do it but you are an inspiration and show what can be done with hard work
Thank you Kate, that’s so kind!
Good to hear your all settled. And so quickly! How do you do it? I’m going to have to start looking for houses to pose in front of now! Good idea! xx
It’s so good to hear that you’re all settling in to your new home. Good luck to you all (Mariah ?) xxxx
Haha thank you darling xx

I watched the GMB on your FB and you were fab! I wonder if anyone actually makes their children call them by their first name as they dislike mum and dad? That would be interesting to know! Off for a read of blogs now 🙂
Yes people do! Thanks for your kind words 🙂
