Welcome to back to Brilliant Blog Posts.
This week I’m sharing some exciting news as the Broadbent family are moving back down South! Having spent most of my twenties living in London, I’m excited to be closer to the Capital which is perfect for work and seeing many of my friends! Plus, no more 7 hour round-trip commutes from London to Leeds every week! Hurrah! As much as I love Yorkshire (there’s a reason it’s called God’s Own County), I’ve always missed the buzz and vibrancy of our nation’s capital.
Of course, I’ll be sad to leave my Big Fat Greek family and close school friends, but Leeds is just 2.5 hours away by train so I know I’ll be back lots.
We’re planning to move in the summer (so Xander is ready to start school down south in September) and over half term we spent a long-weekend location scouting around Windsor and the near by outskirts of London which you can read all about here. I’m beyond shocked that my post on why we are moving is the second most read post on my site of all time and it only went live yesterday. Do pick whichever posts you fancy reading of mine from the link up-and others, too, of course!
Here’s a few snaps of us exploring the beautiful Cliveden House with my good friend Jacqui, blogger at the brilliant Mummy’s Little Monkey…
It was such an incredible weekend that saw our kids bond and made me even more excited for the big move! Hurry up summer!
For this week’s Brilliant Blog Posts, I’m also linking up to a fab Wonderful Women interview with the formidable Natasha Corrett of Honestly Healthy.
Natasha is the founder of one of the nation’s biggest nutrition sites. She’s one of the UK’s top vegetarian chefs, known for her delicious healthy recipes! She also has 4 best-selling cook books under her belt too! Pretty impressive huh?
You can read my interview with Natasha here.
And as it is Brilliant Blog Posts do make sure you link up your own posts below. Old and new welcome in any genre!

Wow what a wonderful area to move to. I’m sure you will really miss your family after the move but I can see it will be a lot lot easier for you in terms of work. I wish you all the luck in the world with it.
Thanks Vicki for your lovely words, exciting times ahead
Love the photos. Especially the one where they all have dirty knees. Sign of a fund day for sure!
