Welcome to a festive Brilliant Blog Posts!
It does seem pretty ironic that I’m sat writing this on the hottest day of the year but as many of you will know, Christmas comes early in the Blogosphere!
Super early…
Two weeks ago saw me head down to London for the ASDA Christmas Press Day on another scorching day!
Stepping out of the sweltering 30 degree heat into a winter wonderland, I arrived at Christmas in July to discover the store’s 2016 festive delights.
How stunning is the venue #housegoals
And of course it wouldn’t be Crimbo without a cocktail or two…or three 😉
I also had the pleasure of meeting celeb chef and new face of ASDA James Martin who whipped up a series of tasty Christmas delights for us all – bunny ears! Such a sport!
And of course it ain’t (faux) Christmas without the food…
Hurry up December!
You can read all about my day at the ASDA Christmas Show with James Martin in July here.
And as it’s Brilliant Blog Posts, please don’t forget to link up your posts. Any genre is welcome – old or new and as many posts as you like! Linkies drive lots of traffic back to your site and if you comment on my site, you receive SEO benefit as all blogs are do-follow links.

It must have been such a relief to get out of the heat and into the cool room. Christmas always creeps up on me as it just gets busier the closer we get. Must have been nice to look at all the things without the event imminent. Looks lovely.

My first response to the Christmas in July is really? Almost like retailers are trying to take advantage of you. But after giving it a little thought—it could be smart. Because this is a great time to start shopping for gifts instead of waiting until the last minute—and what a great way to get you in the mood! So bravo!

It’s a standard thing Jodie, many big brands put on Christmas in July, it gives the press who work months in advance previews into what to expect in time for Christmas 🙂
Oh, I would have loved to go to this! I adore Christmas, even in July! That chocolate pudding looks amazing, EVEN on the hottest day of the year! xx
Incredible! Roll on Christmas!

I can’t believe you attended an event about Xmas already!!!! It’s only July. Having said that, I would have loved a cocktail from this lovely gentleman and a piece of that chocolate cake. No the whole thing, not a piece actually! #brillblogposts
