brilliant blog posts-Honest Mum

How fast are the weeks, and even the years flying by, folks?! My eldest son, Oliver, turned 6 on Sunday and it literally feels like yesterday he was born.

I’ve shared his birthday party with you at the incredible creative hub that is the Rainbow Factory, who kindly threw him a spectacular party like no other merging performance with arts and crafts and storytelling.

I always find it so emotional when my children get older, and wanted the post to serve as a tribute to my son’s character and sheer energy too. I feel so lucky to have my two wonderful son, my beloved little boys.

As always, please link up your posts, old, new and as many as you like and don’t forget to add my badge and link back and to comment on mine and a handful of other posts.

Everyone is welcome so tell your mates and do tweet me your urls and I will RT to my 23k followers @honestmummy.

Also if you haven’t already, do check out my YouTube channel and subscribe, I recently made an entertaining recipe video with my Dad, award winning chef and restaurateur George Psarias.

I’ve found some great recipes from this linky!

Thanks for hosting, apologies in advance for adding a sad one. It’s a lonely post and it needs some love.

I know exactly what you mean – time definitely flies and our children certainly grow up far too quickly! That’s why we need to enjoy and cherish every little moment we can with them 🙂 Thanks for hosting, Vicki.

Oh time flies so quickly with children, doesn’t it? My eldest turned 7 recently…suddenly that feels very old…she will be in junior school next year…how did that happen and where’s my baby gone??? Love the beautiful pictures of your beautiful children 🙂

I know what you mean, I also get very emotional when either of my daughters have a birthday. How can they be growing up so fast?! I hope you all had a fantastic day. Thanks for hosting. x

Congratulations on being a mum for six years! That’s just about as long as me – my eldest turned 6 just before Christmas. I can’t quite believe it, yet she does seem so grown up now.

Hi Vicki, where do the years go? My daughter turned sixteen on Tuesday looking back it’s gone so fast it’s scary. I hope Oliver had a wonderful Birthday party and look forward to reading the post.

    Thank you for hosting.

Too adorable! I feel the exponentially shorter years also, but I can only imagine how fast they pass when it comes to watching your children grow before your eyes. Enjoy the moments, days, weeks, years because they really do pass far too quickly.
